The unparalleled scenery of Sanbondaki Falls, chosen as one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls

There are three big waterfalls at the skirts of the Eastern side of Mt. Norikuradake. These are the “Bandokoro Great Falls,” the “Yoshigoro Falls,” and the “Sanbondaki Falls,” which were elected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls. All of them display a refreshing beauty, but the especially rare thing about the “Sanbondaki Falls” is that three waterfalls with different water sources merge together at a single spot. The way in which the falls, some skirting along the surface of the rock, some dynamically spraying water as they flow, merge in the basin of the waterfall from a height of 50 to 60 meters is overwhelming!
