The further you ascend, the more energy you’ll feel.

It takes about 1 hour to get to the rearmost shrine, so you should be prepared for good hike. This holy atmosphere that these trees create is the main attraction. It feels as if a mysterious energy embraces us with the power becoming stronger as you go up the mountain.

Colorful plants are everywhere on the mountain path.

These pictures were taken on a rainy autumn day and Myohoga-dake is wet all year round. There are lots of unusual mushrooms, plants, and insects everywhere… even during winter! You can definitely feel Japan’s abundant ecosystem here. We recommend that you slowly ascend, taking in the scenery so that you have a chance to make new discoveries.
