Mon 2nd to Wed, 4th of November: Karatsu Kunchi in Karatsu city, Saga Prefecture
During the transition from autumn to winter, the hottest festival is held in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. On the day of the Karatsu Kunchi Festival, it is said that all people originally from Karachi, return to attend to this event. There will be about five hundred thousand people. The 14 gorgeous Hikiyama, built about 200 years ago, will be paraded in the streets.

Sun, 8th November: Arashiyama Momiji Festival in Kyoto
Arashiyama Momiji Festival is held on the second Sunday of November in Arashiyama, Kyoto, and is famous for its autumn foliage.
The way noble men used to enjoy art and music is reproduced at the river and it just looks like a scene from a picture scroll.

Sat, 7th to Sun 8th November: Ishigaki-jima Festival in Okinawa Prefecture
It’s the largest festival in Okinawa, with about 1,600 people dressed in traditional costumes parading throughout the street. There will also be concerts from Okinawan musicians and performances of traditional dance. The tasty specialties from the Yaeyama islands, including ishigaki island, will be served. A fireworks display will also be held on the last day.
