The city of Fuji Yoshida is well known for Mt. Fuji, one of the best mountains in the world. You can see Mt. Fuji in perfect symmetry from Fuji Yoshida and can also learn everything about it at the Fujisan Museum.

You can learn about the reason why people are attracted to Mt. Fuji, the reason why it became an object of worship, and information on worshipping Mt. Fuji. Projection mapping creates a 1/2000 scale visual of Mt. Fuji and is a must see. You can enjoy the beauty of the four seasons, look back to the history of Mt. Fuji, and watch an informational animation about God. There are also exhibitions for the history and industry of Fuji Yoshida, so you can get a deeper insight into the city itself.

You can learn about the festivals and industries of the city. The two Mikoshi and Taimatsu used in Yoshida’s Fire Festival are exhibited. Fuji Yoshida produces the highest class of textiles.
