The Romantic Allure of Yokohama’s Red Brick Warehouse at Night

Located on the Tokyo Bay just south of Tokyo is Yokohama, the capital of Kanagawa prefecture. The city of Yokohama is where one can find fashionable and sophisticated streetscapes with boutiques and cafes as well as the exotic, old world architecture of Japan.
The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse consists of two structures erected in the early part of the 1900’s. At the present day, building #1 is used as a cultural facility for art exhibitions, festivals, plays, and musical events. Building #2 houses elaborate shops and restaurants as well as balcony for impressive views of the Yokohama Harbor.
During the evening, both complexes are lit up and provide beautiful views for couples enjoying romantic walks in nearby parks.
