The Scramble crossing that Allows for up to 3000 people at a time

The Shibuya District in Tokyo is known as one of the main fashion areas of Japan, especially for young people, and is popular for its nightlife and countless shopping opportunities.
In front of Shibuya Station you will find the famous scramble crosswalk ‘Hachiko Mae,’ where it’s said that an average of 500,000 people cross everyday. Foreigners to Japan who cross it comment on how well controlled and efficient the system is, leaving no one in the cross walk on a red light. For the citizens it’s an everyday necessity so, people take great care as to not bump into each another while crossing.
Shibuya district is very populated and Hachiko Mae crossing is especially crowded during the daytime and weekends.
