The Saitama Anime & Manga Festival is an all-round anime and manga event that includes concerts, stage shows, and product booths. This autumn’s event will be even bigger than last year!

Saitama prefecture is the setting for many popular anime, such as “Lucky Star” (Kuki City, Saginomiya), “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” (Chichibu City) and “Kamisama Kiss” (Kawagoeshi City). Along with these attractions, stages for anime and manga, set in all parts of Japan, will be assembled. The Anime Song Academy will be broadcasting a special radio show live from the venue featuring guest stars Shoko Nakagawa and Akira Abe!

The Saitama Anime & Manga Festival will also play host to “The Voice Actor Talk Show (working title)”, brought to you by Saitama TV, the “Holy Land Pilgrimage Market & Cafe”, where you can buy goods related to the sacred anime spots, and the “Holy Land Pilgrimage Sightseeing Goods Exhibition”, where you can see all of Japan’s sacred anime spots gathered in one room! All this can only be experienced at the Saitama Anime Festival! Although some events have an admission fee, there are also plenty of free things for you to enjoy, so don’t hesitate to join in!

The venue near JR Omiya Station is easy to access from Tokyo. Only 25 minutes by bullet train or 40 minutes by regular train. It’s also easy to visit the sites where “Lucky Star” and “Kamisama Kiss” take place.
