Murangozzo serves “Uonuma cuisine”!
Murangozzo is inside“HATAGO ISEN”.
It’s Japanese integrated with black and ocher, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.
The edible wild plants and fish are gathered from the mountain and river areas near the restaurant and the salmon is raised by selective breeding. It has a soft and rich texture that goes well with Uonuma soy sauce. Other food is served according to the each season and utilizes the best ingredients. The white rice served in the course menu is first class and is harvested in the Shiosawa district, thought to have the best rice fields in Uonuma. You can even take some home with you.
Beautiful and delicious course cuisine at Murangozzo.
The cheapest item served at Murangozzo is this Risotto course, at 1600 yen.
The course menu consists of soup, a main dish, rice, miso soup, dessert, and coffee/tea.
They serve miso soup apart from the soup served before the main dish, because they believe Niigata’s white rice goes best with it. All of the dishes look so simple. Fresh seafood is served on a white plate and has no additives or artificial coloring.
I was especially amazed at this radish and bean soup. The beans look like red and white diamonds in the clear soup and it was so pleasant to see this refreshing appearance.
Three different appetizers were served. The color of the Uonuma salmon is so vivid and tastes so good in tamari soy sauce. It brightened up my heart.
The desserts were professionally decorated by the patissier.
You might even feel like not eating it because of its beauty!
There is also a Japanese food menu.
