1: Goldfish scooping
Kingyo-sukui, goldfish scooping is one of the most typical booths at Japanese summer festivals. There usually is a water tank with plenty of goldfish swimming inside of it.
You’ll hold a cup in your left hand and scoop the fish with your right hand with a tool called a “poi”, covered in thin Japanese paper. The paper will break easily from the water, so you need to be fast! You can take home the fish you caught. Take care of your new friend.

You can scoop super balls too. Super balls are a very ‘bouncy’ type of ball. The best way to play with them is with your cat. They will absolutely love it when it bounces really high! Like the goldfish, they float on the water and you have to scoop them with a special tool. They come in all sorts of sizes and colors. Will you be able to catch your favorite one?
