If you’ve come to Japan in the hope to meet robots, this is the event you have been waiting for! Companies from all over Japan will present their latest robotic technologies and robots designed to help people in diverse aspects of life: Medical and nursing care robots, construction robots, service robots, robots designed to help you at home, artificial intelligence and much more!

IMPORTANT: The event is free but you need to register online before going.

Kawagoe Festival (Sat, October 20th – Sun, October 21st)

Known since older days as “Little Edo,” Kawagoe is a beautiful city only an hour or so by train from Tokyo famous for its streets of traditional storehouse style buildings. The Kawagoe festival’s highlight is its floats that are about eight meters tall, higher than most rooftops in the area. Riding on the floats are groups of musicians playing flutes, drums, and hand bells, all together with dancers performing graceful traditional dances.

Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2018 (Sat, October 20th – Sun, October 21st)

This is great event taking place is one of Tokyo’s most famous gardens- Hama Rikyu. There, you can experience different kinds of tea ceremonies. the festival is beginner friendly so you can participate without having any prior knowledge, and some ceremonies will be in English too.

The event is from 9am to 5pm, but it is quite popular so we recommend you go early to buy tickets inside the garden.

Access: 7 minutes walk from Shiodome Station or Tsukijishijo Station (Toei Oedo Line), or from Shiodome Station (Yurikamome Line)

Tokyo Vegefood Festa 2018 (Sat, October 20th – Sun, October 21st)

Vegan sushis!

Life for vegans and vegetarians is not always easy in Tokyo, but if you are one of them, this weekend you can go to this festival and eat to your heart’s content without having to worry about what’s in your plate!

As often in this kind of festival, not only lots of food to eat and stuff to buy will be available, but some music shows will also take place.
