The Tadaima Japan Shinjuku Ryokan is going to celebrate its 2-year anniversary as well as the New Year 2020.
This year, the inn offers the possibility to try Japanese traditional New Year food to celebrate the upcoming year with its guests!
- – On December 31th, try the traditional soba (buckwheat) noodles. Called ‘toshikoshi soba’, they are a symbol for longevity, forgetting the previous year, bringing fortune… The ryokan guests will be able to enjoy them for ¥1000.
- – On January 1st, 2nd and 3rd, guests will have the opportunity to taste a few sorts of ‘osechi’, New Year good luck food. Ryokan guests will have the choice between discovering a little osechi for ¥700, or add it to the usual Tadaima Japan breakfast and have a full set for ¥1500.
If you are staying at the ryokan for the New Year and are interested, let our staff know during the check-in or send us an email at contact@tadaima-ryokan.com!
Our staff will also give you detailed information on the best places to celebrate the first temple visit of the year, so do not hesitate to ask!
